Nghi Son and Iron Steel Corporation [VAS Group] founded the scholarship "VAS – Vuon cao tinh than Viet" to help impoverished and studious youngsters fulfill their goals of attending school.
The fund not only financially assists kids in pursuing their dreams of attending school and enhancing their knowledge, but it also helps them feel the warmth of humanity and goodwill. We want to motivate them to be more confident in their journey of mastering knowledge, practicing morals continually, improving skills, rising in life to fulfill their goals, live responsibly, and develop talents to contribute to the country.
The fund has completed the transfer of money via banking to 65 students across the universities in HCM City on October 27th [The value of a scholarship consists of 100% tuition, support for freshmen of 2 million dongs each student, and sustenance of 1 million dongs per month per student x 9 months].
On behalf of the students who were given scholarships, teachers at the Student Assistance Center in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics… to offer heartfelt gratitude to the Board of Directors of VAS and the Fund Operating Board for accompanying the schools on the journey to lead future generations.
The Liaison Committee of the fund has recently received numerous gratitude from students for taking care of and assisting over the school year via emails/messages/calls. The gratitude, optimistic spirit, and perseverance of students in the face of adversity are sources of great joy for VAS's Founder, Operating Board, and Liaison Committee.
In addition to the scholarship program in Ho Chi Minh City, the fund collaborates with universities in Ha Noi, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, and Can Tho to assist transfer 170 computers to hardworking students who lack access to online study.

The materials are also delivered to students and updated on the Student Assistance Center HCM City site in the future to share the spirit and studious heritage among Vietnam's student community.
