Employees of VAS Group have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus

Vaccination is a critical and essential solution for helping the community in quickly returning to a "new normal" situation and restoring production and business operations in safe adaptation to the Covid-19 pandemic. Until now, VAS has mandated vaccination for all employees in order to ensure safe working conditions in accordance with Prime Ministerial directives and Ministry of Health guidance documents.

The Committee for Disease Prevention and Control was established in March 2020 with the task of monitoring the epidemic throughout in order to have effective pandemic prevention and response methods to all developments that create pandemic, safety, and health. Protect the health of your employees as much as possible.

Creating a scenario based on the "3 on the spot" and "1 route, 2 destinations" models

In July 2021, VAS developed a scenario to deal with the Covid 19 pandemic based on the "3 on the spot" and "1 route, 2 destinations" models; Employees are accommodated at the Service complex, which covers an area of 17 ha [Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa] and has nearly 1,000 rooms and a capacity of over 2,000 people. Sharing difficulties with Partners / Contractors, VAS also provides accomodation space for units that want to process "3 on the spot" model.

Enhancing inspection and supervision, strictly apply the "5K" principle, and test on a regular basis.

In addition to the solution to vaccinate staff and employees, VAS has implemented numerous methods to prevent Covid-19 in accordance with Ministry of Health instructions, such as enhancing inspection and supervision of people and strictly implementing the "5K" principle; Check employees and employees of Partners / Contractors working at the Company on a regular basis to detect and localize infections by area and limit disease spread.

Access control via facial recognition system, as well as an internal Health declaration process

In October 2021, VAS officially implemented the automatic facial recognition system, even when wearing a mask, located right at the factory entrances, assisting in limiting contact through dangerous intermediate items and the risk of infection; Simultaneously, this system will help reduce stress and risk for the Security Department and the supervisors on duty.

In addition to the health declaration on the National Portal, all employees and Partners/Contractors entering the Factory/Office must make medical declarations on the Internal Portal and minimize manual work to manage, monitor, and retrieve data as needed.

The considering on time of the Board of Directors; consistent direction from the Committee for Disease Prevention and Control; and, above all, the spirit of self-discipline and unanimity of all VAS employees have protected employee health and safety, stable production, and profitability. The lives of 6,000 employees are assured.
