VAS Group Fulfills the Role of a Leading Enterprise in the Construction Material Industry

Since its founding, VAS Group has aimed to build a foundation for sustainable development based on a circular economy model and a “Green, Clean” orientation. This pioneering mindset has helped VAS become one of the first steel companies in Vietnam to achieve international EPD certification, with CO2 emissions below 750 kg/ton – comparable to the standards of leading European steel mills. This certification showcases VAS' strong commitment to environmental protection.

VAS Group's steel production ecosystem spans Vietnam’s three regions: North, Central, and South – with an exceptional production capacity of 4.35 million tons of billets and 2.5 million tons of construction steel annually. Notably, its five steel mills, along with the Nghi Son International Port and the Nghi Son Port Logistics Area, serve as crucial links in a closed and sustainable VAS ecosystem aligned with its production and business strategies.

In addition, VAS Group's subsidiaries continue to enhance their capabilities to maximize regional strengths. Continuous product, technology, and service innovations are being implemented to flexibly adapt to the challenges of both domestic and international markets while meeting increasingly high consumer demands.

VAS also invests in state-of-the-art production lines from Danieli [Italy], using induction furnaces that do not consume diesel or coal. This technology not only boosts production efficiency but also reduces CO2 emissions by over 40% compared to traditional steelmaking methods, allowing VAS’s green Steel products to meet strict international standards from Japan [JIS], the UK [BS4449], the US [ASTM, SAE, J403], and Australia [ACRS].

Bold Spirit Realizing the Aspiration to “Vietnam Advance Spirit”

Throughout its development journey, VAS Group has steadfastly pursued continuous innovation to deliver superior-quality products. VAS green Steel has been chosen for numerous national key projects, including the North-South Expressway, Hai Phong City Political-Administrative Center, Long Thanh International Airport, Tan Son Nhat Terminal 3, Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant, Duong River Bridge, and the 500KV Circuit 3 Power Line.... These projects embody a strong national spirit, provide long-term societal benefits, and contribute to the country’s sustainable development.

Beyond conquering the domestic market, VAS green Steel has expanded to over 15 countries, including South Korea, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, China, Cuba, Guatemala, and even well-known strict markets such as Japan, the US, and Europe [Belgium], showcasing the brand’s boldness and strategic vision.
