Central America is a fairly large and new market for many Vietnamese enterprises, especially steel industry, due to long geographical distance and many difficulties in transportation. Experiencing many strict rules of origin, inspection process, tough requirements of international quality standards and delivery time, VAS steels have successfully conquered fastidious Guatemalan customers. That affirms VAS huge production capacity and her export potential.

Previously, at the beginning of 2020, Nghi Son International Port welcomed the first international container ship. Since then, hundreds of large and small ships dock at the port every day, that changed the shipping picture in Thanh Hoa province in particular and the North Central region in general. The Port is the great element for VAS's ecosystem that actively supports steel export activities, contributes to cost optimization, and reduces initial investment for projects and production activities of the Group.

Despite the great impact of Covid-19 in the past 2 years, the VAS Group has maintained regular production and continuously exported steels to various countries through Nghi Son International Port. In August 2021, thousand tons of VAS steels were exported to the Japanese market.
Japan is the top quality-oriented market because of the strict prerequisite on product quality and manufacturer's brand reputation. For this matter, VAS has monitored the grade of each produce from input to output following ISO 9001:2008 standards. As a result, VAS steels have met the stadard of Japan [JIS] and American [ASTM] consequently. VAS is also honored to be the second Vietnamese steel brand presented in Japan.
