On September 15, 2022, VAS Steel Nghi Son held an Internship Closing Ceremony for students from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. The students were thrilled to have experienced the world’s No.1 steel production chain technology by Danieli [Italia] at the factories.
Participants at the ceremony included the Factories’ Boards of Directors, the Administrative and Human Resources Division, and 32 students from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

With plans for the construction of Factory 4 in place, opportunities are becoming increasingly greater for candidates, especially young labor forces regarding to Iron - Steel Engineering and Materials - Cast Engineering. The youth will have the chance to apply and expand their knowledge, freely explore and innovate, and readily learn and access new technologies when they join Factory 4 - one of the largest and most advanced steel factories in Vietnam.
The interns, carrying within them the burning desire to contribute to society and power of youth, were motivated and inspired to craft the next chapters of their lives. Cognizant of the significance of these first steps, these young students wished to try their hands at a modern and professional working environment such as VAS. Throughout their experience at the factories and offices and engagement with long - time employees of the Group, many students expressed admiration and respect towards the seniors and became increasingly confident of their journeys ahead.
The VAS Group gathered nearly 6,000 passionate hearts, brilliant minds, and skillful hands to collectively build a team that possesses a Mind of Steel, that conquers the global market, that is receptive to new ideas, and that has innovative minds and passion of the youth who are eager to contribute.
VAS’ “people-centric” compensation and welfare policies for workers guarantee the most basic needs such as occupational and work safety, stable income or the aspiration for self-development, skill and knowledge improvement in line with the development of each individual. Many employees, with decades of working with VAS, have become the inspiration for new members and the renewed faith for the youth of a team that creates products of international quality and great cultural and brand values.
Having engaged, felt, and learned of the cultural values and personnel policies throughout the internship at the VAS Group and learned of the practical steel production process at the VAS Steel Nghi Son, the representative of the students shared the desire to become official members of and contribute to the Group after graduation. Well-wishes and beautiful flowers were heartily sent to the Boards of Directors and factories.

In concluding the Ceremony, the Board of Directors emphasized that work opportunities were always open to students so as to incubate future talents of the nation as well as realize the aspiration to “Advance the Vietnamese Spirit”. The VAS Group sent its heartfelt wishes to the students to complete their education courses in excellence and wished to accompany them in the near future.
